Averages across active Retain accounts. Your results depend on traffic, average order value and which messages you turn on.
Most visitors leave before the step
that asks for an email.
Recovery can only follow up with people you can identify, and on most sites that happens at the very last step. Everyone earlier in the journey walks out anonymous. Retain moves that moment forward.
The page decides who sees it. The cart decides what it says.
Any tool can show a popup on a URL. Retain reads what's actually in the cart or booking — value, items, dates, seat count — and changes the message to match. A $400 cart earns an offer, a $40 cart doesn't. A 3-night stay gets a discount, a 1-night stay gets a reminder.

Rules stack, so one campaign can run several messages against different carts without stepping on each other.

Retain is an add-on to your Recover plan, so there's nothing new to install and nothing new to learn.
Build the message
Start from a template in the popup builder and drop in your branding. It uses the tag already on your site.
Set who sees it
Choose the pages, the audience and the trigger. Welcome timing, exit intent, or both for different visitors.
Connect it to recovery
Every address captured flows into your recovery campaigns, and the revenue reports next to everything else you recover.
Retain fills the top of the funnel. Recover and Reveal cover the rest.
Same account, same report, same tag.
Recover
RequiredThe email, SMS and push follow-up that brings abandoners back. Retain runs on top of it — every contact a Retain message captures lands in a Recover campaign.
Reveal
More visitors identifiedRetain asks the visitor for an address. Reveal identifies the ones who never give you one. Between them, far fewer high-intent visitors leave without a name.
Questions worth asking first.

Yes. Retain is an add-on to a Recover plan. It captures contacts and holds attention on your site; Recover is what follows up afterwards, so the two are designed to run together.
Only if you set it up that way. Every message is targeted by page, audience, device and trigger, and engagement stops a series from continuing — if someone clicks or closes a nudge, the rest don't show.
An exit-intent message that offers to email the visitor what they'd picked out — their cart, their stay, or the seats they were holding. It is both an on-site retention campaign and a recovery campaign: when they opt in you can send the delivery email right away with exactly what they asked for, and a three-email follow-up sequence runs behind it to bring them back.
They hand off to each other. Someone who opts in gets the send my cart sequence, and if they come back and abandon a cart again they are pulled out of it and into your abandoned cart campaigns instead — so they only ever get one story at a time. That is why send my cart drives incremental revenue twice: through the campaign itself, and through the recovery campaigns it feeds.
Automatically. An address captured by a Retain message is treated the same as one typed at checkout: it enters the recovery sequence you already run, with the session detail attached.
It only fires when someone has already left your tab for another one. The title and favicon change, and the chime is optional — you decide whether to use it.
As an add-on to your Recover plan, priced on the same volume tier you're already on. Start with a 30-day free trial, and we'll help you build the first campaigns.
