Case studies/Ecommerce
A multinational big-box retailer

$1.71M recovered across two country sites in 90 days.

A general-merchandise retailer running separate storefronts in two South American markets, each in its own currency. One recovery configuration, replicated per market, recovered $1.71M from 94,862 abandoned carts in a single quarter.

The challenge

Volume was the problem and the opportunity. Between the two sites, close to 95,000 carts were being abandoned every quarter — far too many to chase manually, and spread across two currencies, two languages and two catalogs. Any recovery that had to be configured market by market from scratch would not have been worth the effort.

What changed

1

One configuration, replicated per market

The integration captures cart contents, prices and currency directly from each storefront, so the same campaign structure runs in both markets without a separate build. Each site sends in its own currency and language from day one.

2

Messages assembled from the cart

Every send carries the exact items left behind, with images, quantities and local pricing. Nothing is templated copy about "your cart" — the products do the persuading, which matters across a catalog this broad.

3

Tuned per market, not per campaign

Send timing and sequence length were set against each market's own abandonment behaviour rather than a global default. The larger site settled at a 9.4% recovery rate, the smaller at 8.4%.
